According to the American Pet Products Association (APPA), approximately 44% of all households in the United States have a dog, and 35% have a cat. The initiatives we collaborate with help defenseless abandoned animals in the streets or shelters and educate the public on pet guardianship.

We are happy to be a part of the Humane Society of Calvert County’s efforts to promote compassion for and humane treatment of animals by encouraging responsible pet ownership.

They have been diligently working to improve our community for animals and people by sheltering and protecting animals from harm, placing them into caring, responsible homes, and enhancing the relationship between animals and people.
